I believe in creating your best day every day, choosing your own adventure, and living your best life now.
This wasn’t always me. Once upon a time, I had a corporate job with benefits and paid vacation. I was celebrated for my hard work as a top-performing manager with all the important sounding awards. But I found out the hard way that my “safe” corporate job was in jeopardy and my passion for writing outside of work hours was considered a distraction. I was given two choices: step up, or step down. I paved my own path instead. I left.
My eyes were opened to the truth. There is no such thing as a safe job. I no longer wait for a future that may someday come. I choose to live my best day every day. Now, I am on the road to launching several books and I am happier and more productive than I ever thought possible. Work is no longer just a job that gives me a paycheck; it’s a calling. It’s not something to be endured so that I can have time for the thing I love; my work is the thing I love.
